#IMAC 27 LATE 2013 GRAPHICS CARD PRO#
I am going to buy a mac pro and it will be the machine for many years to last I am expecting more than 6 years than my iMac late 2009 which was serving me well till this graphic card problem. You are better off with this investment than the iMac, macbook pro, mac mini etc etc. For some how I think apple does this intentionally and plus the iMac design enclosure is a big fail these machine run very very hot not good for GPU and CPU chips, why because the heat tend to fry the components, out of all the Mac computer line the Mac Pro is the only machine worth getting if you want to put the same amount of money investment on a iMac max out I recommend getting the mac pro basic quad core.
#IMAC 27 LATE 2013 GRAPHICS CARD UPGRADE#
Just one month after I made this investment upgrade the iMac on my own with these two SSD and believe me everything was working amazing till the screen started to glitch but this glitch was happening rarely before I did the upgraded SSD drives. I am sketchy about eBay because of many bad experiences of people but since I live in Spain and the graphics is in the USA I don't want to be on a hassle back and fourth fight with the seller I want to know if it is possible to put this card on a late 2009 iMac will it fit and since apple is not so kind to advise me about this and of coarse if I buy it apple is not willing to put in my machineĪll I could say good luck in finding this card in a normal repair shop, ever since I upgraded to el capitan the whole screen thing went crazy I even invested in Two SSD 1 terabyte and put it in a RAID 0 and my machine was like a new computer. Ok last week my iMac 27 inch quad core late 2009 graphics card fail it's all pixelated and with square artifacts took itnto the Apple Store near my home in Spain and they told me that a iMac that is older than 5 years with graphics problem they cannot touch to repair it so looking on the net I found this card that looks very similar to my 4850 ati Radeon card only that it has 512 megs of ram instead of what the 5750 which has a gig of video ram.
